i have had my fridge for 3 months now, it works wonderfully. The only problem was I could not understand why the ice dispenser would not work, the shoot would open but no motor noise, had 2 repair appointments and the second one discovered the freezer side door was off a little, now works perfectly... love the option to lock the dispensers due to having toddler in the house.

This amazing 28.5 cubic foot, side by side refrigerator is exactly what my family needed. It is spacious and the shelving fits all our food, with room left over. On month three and everything works as it should, at first we thought the compressor was a little on the loud side but after settling in we hardly notice it. Lots of room and very bright inside. The features are great and our only downside is the water dispenser runs very slowly to fill a glass.

The space in this one is wonderful. Where our previous fridge was always overcrowded, this one looks empty. My only complaint would be the icemaker/dispenser. It is slow and noisy.

I special ordered this refrigerator about a month ago. It came in earlier than expected and delivered a few days later. Immediately after delivery person left I noticed the freezer door was scraping against refrigerator side wall on opening and closing. I called the warranty company who sent out a factory authorized repairman. He said the door was warped probably by the foam filling. We also noticed the liner of the refrigerator was separated from the outside casing below the door. The repairman said he would order a new door and it would take at least 6 weeks. He couldn't do anything about the separation below the door. I decided to return this refrigerator and ordered another of the same model. I hope the quality control people check this one a little closer than the last one or I will return that one also and order another brand.

Delivery was delayed a day because tghe delivery truck broke down and they did not have a spare. After delivery, Frig was easy to install, hook up, set up. in 12 hours, it had come to temperature as the manual described, and it maintained temps after being loaded with foods. the finish to minimize finger prints is baloney - the front shows everything (the black color hides nothing). water & ice dispenser work as advertised. However, the instructions for setting the various functions are confusing, and often not logical. Ice-maker functions are a bit noisy (water filling, ice tray emptying), probably hard to hide them. It has been in service 8 days now, with no problems or failures. Hope it continues this way.

We bought this unit from Lowe's 9/22/19, (yup 3 days ago). We plugged it in, set it up and waited the 24 hours as recommended to get to temperature. We're on day 3 and it still won't cool! At this point just $ down the drain. Currently on hold with the help center waiting on a response, praying they will replace or fix it. Very disappointed.

I love the refrigerator except for the fact that the main shelves can't be adjusted. The shelves on the door are adjustable, but not the others. Ice maker works great and the I like the size of the holding bucket for the ice.

I hv hd it4about 6wks. It runs great so far. Its quiet except for when water is runnin2fill up ice maker bt no big deal. The only negative is when its dispencing ice, ice particles n sometimes chips spit out on the sides. I just hold glass close up to dispenser. Overall I think its a great investment. Had this refrigerator for less than 30 days and the refrigerator seal on the refrigerator door came apart. The problem with the seal is that it affected the door closing, to the point where it takes 1015 minutes to rig the door to close. I imagine that with five-year-old and a seven-year-old. Then take me to sideration I called Whirlpool customer care who was apathetic, to say the least about helping me. So now I am forced to go purchase another refrigerator because this one is in operable wow whirl pool figures out how to service a customer. Doesn't make sense to wait around 6 to 8 weeks for a new door to come in When they can do a refrigerator swap in a few weeks. Again this refrigerator is only 30 days old!!! Man whirlpool you really let me down and I have high expectations

There was a very long lead time to get this refrigerator in black (nearly 6 weeks and a lot of delays) but now that I have it, I do love it. There is tons of space. I particularly love the freezer space gained by having the ice maker in the door. It's so roomy! Initially I thought there would not be enough tall shelves but so far everything fits well. The exterior is a beautiful shiny black; not as easy to clean as my old refrigerator that was textured black, but it's sleek and modern looking. I love the water dispenser where you can set it to pour a certain number of ounces, start it and walk away. That's really helpful when you're rushing around to get dinner on the table. That feature always defaults to 8 ounces and each time you have to use the arrow button to increase the amount. I wish that the default was programmable so that I could make it 16 oz. Still, it's a terrific feature. I recommend this refrigerator, but, if you can, get a color that is in stock to avoid the extended wait time.

I was amazed how much more space this refrigerator has compared to my old one. The LED lighting makes it so much easier to find items. The fingerprint resistance is also a definite plus. Refrigerator is so quiet & so is the icemaker. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

This is our third Whirlpool side-by-side. First is still working. This one replaces one that failed after about 10 years (appeared to be electrical short that caused an ice-maker problem and was caused by frayed wiring. It would have cost over $1200 to buy new door to repair. Hence the new refrigerator). So far this one has been what we expected; except that it quit cooling after about 3 months in service, while we were out of town, Of course, when we returned, it was easy to discover as the refrigerator contents were at 65 degrees. Repair service under warranty was good, although it took a few days to get part. We have diminished confidence in Whirlpool at this time.

With the ice on the door the freezer has lots of room with 2 pull out drawers and 4 shelfs, while the refrigerator has 5 gallon door bins which really adds space for little things. I also have bad habit of leaving door open while prepping things and it has an alarm to remind me to close it.
